FAQs

Give each cabinet a code and room location. Include its type, dimensions, layout, door style, finish, hardware, interior fittings, quantity, and any packing or installation notes. Record approved exceptions as separate items instead of treating them as a standard cabinet type.
Start with how each room will use the cabinet. Kitchen units need to work with the appliance layout. Bathroom vanities need to suit the basin and plumbing layout. Wardrobes depend on the mix of hanging space, shelves, and drawers. Put those requirements in the cabinet schedule before finalizing the design.
Show the current appliance or fixture model, the required opening or cutout, finished cabinet dimensions, and any panel, door, or drawer detail that affects the fit. Do not rely on a reference image alone when the cabinet must fit a specific appliance or fixture.
A material sample can confirm the color and finish. Use a full mock-up when the project also needs to approve cabinet proportions, door and drawer gaps, edge details, and hardware operation. Base the mock-up on the approved drawing so it shows the assembly that will go into production.
